Privacy policy

This policy covers www.embarcaderolabs.com, the website of Embarcadero Labs ("we", "us"). Our product, Ten4, has its own site at ten4.works and its own privacy terms.

The short version: we don't use cookies, we don't track you across sites, and we don't sell data. We see aggregated visitor counts, and whatever you choose to send us.

No cookies

This site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or social-media trackers.

One thing stays in your own browser: the rooftop on the home page remembers which of its cards you've already opened, in your browser's local storage. That record never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it doesn't store anything in your browser, and it doesn't fingerprint you or follow you to other sites. It tells us aggregated numbers, such as how many people viewed a page, which page sent them, and roughly which country and kind of device they came from. We can't identify you from it.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic request details to serve pages and to protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

When you contact us

By email. If you write to info@embarcaderolabs.com, or apply for a job at applications@embarcaderolabs.com, we receive what you send: your name, your address, your message and any attachments, such as a resume. We use it to reply to you, and for applications, to consider you for the role.

By a form on this site. Our forms ask for your name, a way to reach you (email or phone) and a message. Some also ask about your company and your work, and record which page and campaign link brought you here. When you send a form:

• the details are emailed to our team at info@embarcaderolabs.com through Resend, our email delivery provider;
• if the form is a product inquiry, the same details are also saved to a private Google Sheet (Google Workspace) that our team uses to follow up.

We keep these messages and records only as long as we need them to talk with you, to consider your application, or to keep our business records.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. The only companies that handle it are the providers named above, and only to do their job for us: hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend) and storage of inquiries (Google).

Your choices and requests

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@embarcaderolabs.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
